I am so excited to work on your pet portrait with you!
Choosing a Photograph
The reference photo you choose is very important, as it should show the personality and spirit of your pet, while still being clear and in focus.
Ideally, take your photo during daylight, in indirect sun. Try to get up close, and ensure the photo is in focus. You should be able to zoom in to see fur texture and a reflection in the eye. If your pet has passed away, I will do my best to work from the photos you have.
Process
I take a 50% deposit to secure your place, and this is non-refundable once the work begins. We choose a photograph, or photographs together, and then the work begins!
I keep you updated with photos of my work as the portrait progresses. We can make adjustments as the portrait comes together, to ensure I am capturing the spirit of your pet.
Once completed, your portrait is sent with a certificate of authenticity, which has my original hallmark seal.
Postage is not included with the price of your portrait, but is usually around £10 tracked and signed for with Royal Mail. For pricing, please see my pricing page.
